Essa banda me chamou a atenção pela capa, simples, achei legal eles quebrarem um pouco a regra e soltarem uma capa “clean”. O som é muito interessante, um progressive metal sombrio, pesado, com uma pegada totalmente gothic metal, vale a pena conhecer, muito legal mesmo.

Ainda na onda do prog metal, mais uma banda que detona. Com mais de 10 anos na ativa o Hourglass é uma banda americana que tem uma sonoridade muito bem trabalhada. Neste álbum os caras já mandam na primeira track uma música de 17m33s, ou seja, já mostram logo para que vieram. Destaque para o baterista, John Dunston, o cara manda bem, muito bem mesmo.

Essa é uma excelente banda para os amantes do Progressive Metal, é mais uma banda que prova de que o mundo não gira em torno do Dream Theater. Essa banda na verdade é um dueto formado por Ced (vocal) e Giuseppe “Mistheria” Iampieri (teclados), esse último já trabalhou com uma dúzia de bandas dentre elas até com Mr. Bruce Dickinson. Para este álbum ele chamou uma galera para tocar os instrumentos, o resultado basta você conferir, o som ficou excelente, só a capa que peca um pouco. Destaque para track Killing the Pain.
